Brownville Park offers a unique camping experience in Desoto County. Located right on the Peace River surrounded by natural flood plain communities of cypress, hickory and sweet gum swamp.  The campground is set amidst a Live Oak Hammock.  You can pitch a tent or pull in your RV and spend the night.  The conveniently located boat ramp makes it possible to bring your boat, canoe, or kayaks and enjoy the Peace River at your leisure.  Brownville Park offers activities such as fishing, foot trails, and access to artifact hunting.

Camping is permitted on designated sites only.

Camping Rates

• RV sites are $25.00/+ tax per night which includes electric, water, grill, picnic table, fire ring, and use of dump station.
• Tent sites with electric are $20.00/+ tax per night and include water, electric, a picnic table & fire ring.
• Tent sites without electric are $15.00/+ tax per night and come with water, a picnic table, & fire ring.
• Primitive camp sites are also available for $15.00 per night/+ tax.

The maximum number of people on any site is two adults and four children.  If you have extra adults you must obtain multiple sites.  One camping unit and two vehicle per site are allowed.  Additional vehicles may park in our common area (extra vehicles staying overnight will be charged $5.00/+ tax per night).  Check in time is after 3:00 pm and check out before noon.   All day guests are required to leave by sunset.

ALCOHOL IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED WITHIN THE PARK
