Responsibilities

Engineer Department provides engineering and survey support services for County Departments as well as manage capital improvement projects. Department coordinates with state agencies for funding, permitting and construction of county project..

• Permit. and inspect all non-county work in county right –of –ways.
• Set line and grade for culvert installation.
• Review plans and plats submitted to the Development Department for review.
• Collect and analyze traffic data.
• Function as Local Agency Program (LAP) coordination for federally funded projects.
